Columbia controls the three variables for a quality hot stamp impression:

air pressure regulator

1.

Pressure is developed by a double acting air cylinder controlled through an air pressure regulator.*
*Optional with unit models, standard with bench model package.

heat

2.

Heat is developed by high density cartridge heaters, assuring uniform heat distribution. Columbia offers a basic internal adjustable heat control thermoswitch, or thermocouple sensor for use with optional remote digital heat control.

dwell 3.

Dwell for individual units is controlled, in automation, by a timer in an existing on-line controller. For stand-alone marking machines, dwell is controlled by either a solid state or pneumatic adjustable timer.
